How old are pets?
Anyone who raises an animal, of course, also wonders how old his favorite can be. The average life expectancy varies considerably depending on the species. Here is a small overview:
- Fish: Different, but usually not very long
- Hamster: Maximum 3 years
- Rabbits: 8 years and older
- Chinchillas: About 18 to 22 years old
- Dogs: About 12 to 16 years old

- Turtles: About 60 years and older
