Veterinary Emergency Services

Veterinary Emergency Services was founded in 1998 by a group of area veterinarians to provide local emergency care for critically ill or injured pets when regular veterinary offices are closed.

The attending veterinarian provides and reviews a detailed treatment plan. Emergency conditions may require intensive diagnostic testing and treatment, resulting in higher costs than an average veterinary visit. Payment is required in full at the time of service, and CareCredit financing may be available.

The hospital provides prompt hospitalization and treatment for pets requiring urgent care in Verona, Virginia.

Emergency Care

The veterinary team is prepared to evaluate and treat pets with urgent illnesses or injuries.

Holiday Availability

Emergency services are available on major holidays, including New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
